In the past, getting unemployment as a beauty professional wasn’t possible. According to the most recent Covid-19 stimulus information, this has been changed. Even more, most resources claim that if you have a loss of income as a small business owner (even if you are still working and it is a loss of only some income), you could be granted short term unemployment benefits.
Due to high rates of people applying for this, the application process is said to take several hours. Make sure to plan accordingly when you are ready to apply.
